Larry Beckett is an American poet, songwriter, musician and translator. His poetic lyrics stretch from “Song to the Siren” to local Portland band Eyelids.
Come hear Beckett perform songs from the newly released ‘Though We Have Only Love: The Songs of Jacques Brel’ as seen at PNC Live Studio, KOIN tv’s AM EXTRA, and at Portland’s own Music Millennium record store (where you can get a copy of the CD before the show).
Celebrate Tim Buckley’s birthday with his friend and collaborator, Larry Beckett. A unique hour long show full of love songs of longing, remorse and joy. With or without a loved one you will find great music and poetry to fill your heart.
